The Tunnel Forum Formatting Guide Read

To keep the forum readable, we use specific codes to style text. HTML is disabled for security, so please use the tags below.

1. Text Styling
Use these tags to emphasize your text:

Bold: Your Text Here ? Your Text Here

Italic: Your Text Here ? Your Text Here

<u>Underline:</u> Your Text Here ? <u>Your Text Here</u>

2. Quoting Others
To reply to a specific user or context, use the quote tag.

Code:

Result: This creates a styled box showing who you are replying to.

Tip: Clicking the "Reply" button on a post will automatically generate this for you.

3. Mentions & Notifications
To get someone's attention:

In-line Mention: Typing @Username anywhere in your post will send them a Private Message notification saying they were mentioned.

Reply Header: If you start a new line with @Username, it creates a special "IN REPLY TO" header style.

4. Images & Attachments
Do not use [img] tags (they are not supported).

How to post images: Use the "Attachment" button at the bottom of the reply box to upload a file directly.

Limit: 1 image per post.

5. Creating Polls ?
(Requires "Architect" Rank / 50+ posts, or Staff status) To create a visual poll, place this code at the very top of your message:

Rules:

Separate options with a pipe symbol |.

You must have the required rank to use this feature.

6. Links & Videos
Anti-Spam Rule: You must have at least 3 posts before you are allowed to type web addresses (URLs).

Clickable Links: Currently, only Moderators and Admins can create clickable links and auto-embed YouTube videos. User links will appear as plain text for safety.

? Tips for a Clean Post
Break it up: Use the "Enter" key to create paragraphs. Walls of text are hard to read!

Check your tags: Make sure every has a closing .

Preview: Use the blue Preview button before posting to ensure your formatting looks correct.
